Open My Eyes

This lovely hymn by Jesse Manibusan has always been one of my favorites. It is liturgically useful throughout most of Ordinary Time. The verse lyrics are beautifully simple, yet make a perfect prayer of supplication. There is no one thing that is technically difficult in this arrangement, but the bridge has lots of movement that may require some extra practice to make smooth. I’ve ways loved singing this hymn, and now I can add it to my options for prelude or postlude. And when singing it, I can now easily extend it instrumentally when necessary.

This will be my last OCP arrangement this year. As per my new contract, I am now limited to only selling 25 OCP hymns arranged for guitar. Therefore, I removed some of my previous arrangements and kept the 25 I felt were most popular.
