They’ll Know We Are Christians and more to come

I just added an old video to the Videos page. Ten years ago, before I retired from teaching Spanish at my parish school, I taught a beginning guitar class after school. At that time, I realized that They’ll Know We are Christians made a fun and easy little flatpicking guitar solo. I rarely use a flat pick myself, but I know many church guitarists do and they might enjoy adding this to their repertoire. 

Also, I decided that I would write a new arrangement each week of Lent. Yesterday, I finished the last one a little early, giving me time to start on taxes and garden prep. One of the 6 hymns was O Sacrament Most Holy, which I added a few weeks ago. The other 5 hymns are new ones under copyright by OCP. I sent them off for review this morning. Once they are approved I will make tutorial videos and add them to my Hymnal page. That may take a few months, but there are definitely new addditions coming to the LGH. Keep an eye out for: Mary’s Song; Song of Mary; Come to the Water; Open My Eyes; and Come to the River.
