When I first started formally arranging hymns 25 years ago, I envisioned writing a book called The Liturgical Guitarist Hymnal that might contain over 25 hymn arrangements.

I was invited to share my arrangements for the National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM) Lunchtime Concert Series.

I just added the GIA hymn, Taste and See, by James E Moore Jr. It requires good facility with barre chords, but is not too hard beyond that.

I've mentioned before that I am a convert to Catholicism, having been raised Southern Baptist. Perhaps the most popular hymn of my childhood was The Old Rugged Cross.

Garden season is winding down and I have finally got my new computer working with all my software needed to record and edit tutorial videos.

I’ve played Hosea, by Gregory Norbert, for many years, but never wrote out an arrangement. It is a wonderful hymn and us useful at times throughout the year, not just for Lent.

Just in time for Father's Day. This is a pretty easy arrangement in keys C and D major. I found that this piece was pretty easy last year, but I didn't get it arranged in time for the holiday.

This lovely hymn by Jesse Manibusan has always been one of my favorites. It is liturgically useful throughout most of Ordinary Time.
